What Sweden actually requires
The Embassy of Sweden in Abuja can legalize a signature from a competent Nigerian foreign-ministry official. This service does not mean every Swedish residence, registry or university application requires legalization. Check the receiving authority’s instructions first.
First ask the Swedish receiving authority whether legalization is required. If it is, obtain Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs authentication, then ask the Embassy to confirm the accepted document format, submission method, appointment arrangements and whether a representative may attend.
